I’m a health coach, degreed nutritionist holding a specialization in sports nutrition, and a certified personal trainer based in Orange County, California. I received my BS from MIT and DN from CSULA.

I don’t mean “athlete” in the sense of organized sports and competition. I mean that for your body to thrive, you must give it: strength training, high intensity training, low intensity cardio, mobility work, adequate sleep and relaxation, and ample and proper nourishment. “Athleticism” is simply what human biology expects of us.
Too many people are unaware that musculoskeletal function is THE LYNCHPIN of all health — mental health included. Longevity and wellness are most readily attained and maintained with optimal muscle and bone health.

I’m gentle, patient, well-spoken, and approachable. I put a premium on proper biomechanics and injury prevention. I also have a knack for explaining abstract and complicated things about our bodies and biology to others. I’m a natural educator.
These traits make me perfect for anyone new to fitness and older athletes in their 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond! I’m also a HAES proponent (Health At Every Size). My #1 aim is your health, happiness, and wellbeing…for the long haul. Unlike many health professionals, I will tell you flat-out that your shape, size, and weight do not play a part in attaining those (unless that’s what you want).
I myself am 54 years of age, keeping myself young through fitness, diet, and supplementation.

Guidance you receive from me is rooted in science (“evidence-based”). I’ll always let you know what’s complete BS, what’s supported by science, what’s debatable, and what’s at least logical and credible.
My health specializations are: nutrition, health and longevity (anti-aging), biomechanics, body image, muscular and aesthetic development, advanced body recomposition, strength, balance, flexibility, and functional fitness.
To help you on your journey, you and I start by reviewing your health history and blood work (and then periodically review these going forward too). I’ll also help you communicate with your doctor. My nutrition and dietetics education qualifies me to help you understand what the medical establishment sadly doesn’t have the time to explain to you. I’ll help you properly navigate it all while teaching you how to boost your health and longevity and helping you build the body of your dreams.
I strictly monitor client form and watch for any biomechanical issues to address them early on. Injury prevention in the short-term as well as ensuring long-term functional strength and mobility are non-negotiable.
